Welcome to Mission Transition AI. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided at missiontransitionai.org (the "Service"), operated by Mission Transition AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), an Arizona limited liability company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Mission Transition AI is an AI-powered planning and education platform that helps U.S. military service members, veterans, and their families navigate the military-to-civilian transition. The Service provides informational tools including transition timelines, financial calculators, AI-generated resume and interview content, career suggestions, and educational guidance about benefits and programs.
Important disclaimers:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Access to the member portal requires a verified email address.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Prices may change with notice; changes will not retroactively affect an active billing period. Promotional codes may carry their own terms and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
You may cancel a Mission subscription at any time by emailing veteran@missiontransitionai.org from your account email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we aim to process requests within one business day. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; however, if something isn't right, contact us — we built this for the military community, and we will work with you in good faith.
You agree not to: (a) share your account or resell access; (b) attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or payment requirements; (c) use automated scripts to access the Service or create accounts; (d) use the Service to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; (e) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; or (f) misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Do not enter classified information, controlled unclassified information (CUI), or operationally sensitive details into the Service, including into AI chat features. You are solely responsible for complying with your service branch's OPSEC requirements and any obligations arising from a security clearance you hold.
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as resume text and experience descriptions). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, transmitting it to our AI provider to generate your requested output. AI-generated output you receive may be used by you freely, including commercially, subject to these Terms.
The Service — including its design, branding, text, software, and the Mission Transition AI name and logo — is owned by Mission Transition AI LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by these Terms.
The Service integrates third-party providers (including Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication, Anthropic for AI processing, Brevo for email delivery, and HubSpot for contact management) and links to external resources (such as VA.gov, job boards, and program websites). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MISSION TRANSITION AI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mission Transition AI LLC and its officers, members, and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access to it for violations of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 7–12) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally.
